A disciplined sequence — because the final result depends on everything that happens before the product is applied.
In shortEvery job at AK Car Studio follows the same nine steps: consultation, inspection, recommendation, preparation, execution, detailing, quality control, handover and aftercare. The order matters — roughly 80% of how a coating, PPF install or detail turns out is decided by the preparation before any product touches the car.
You tell us the goal — protect a new car, revive an older one, fix specific damage — and how the car is used and parked.
We assess paint condition and thickness, swirls and defects, interior state, trim, glass, wheels and, where relevant, the underbody.
A clear recommendation and a written quote for the right combination — and an honest note on anything that isn’t worth doing.
Safe wash, chemical and mechanical decontamination, clay, and paint correction where the finish calls for it. This is the bulk of the work.
The chosen service — PPF fitted panel-by-panel, coating applied and cured, film installed, panel repaired — in a controlled bay.
Edges, contours, jambs, glass and trim refined so the finish is consistent everywhere, not just on the main panels.
Every panel and area checked under strong, angled lighting. Anything not right is corrected before you see the car.

Written guidance on wash technique, timing and intervals — and we’re a call away if you have a question later.
A coating or film seals in whatever is under it. Skip decontamination and correction and you permanently lock in swirls, bonded grit and haze — and the bond itself is weaker.
From a few hours for a maintenance detail to one to three days for full-body PPF with correction. We give a firm timeframe at the inspection stage.
We don’t recommend it. The inspection is what makes the quote accurate and the result predictable.
